Clobber - a clothes thread

A good days shopping at Hip Store. An Albam smock I think I posted in this thread a few months back reduced from £199 to £85, a YMC quarter zip sweatshirt half price at £75, a pair of Adsum green socks reduced to £15 and I couldn’t resist a Beams long sleeve t shirt but had to pay full price for that. Autumn sorted.

A new series of tees I’ve made utilising hand cut and pasted collage celebrating the golden eras of reggae - hit me up if you want to cop!

I love these! Please let me know how to purchase.

Liking the new Clarks x Supreme collaboration, but something of a summer shoe for a Autumn/Winter release…

Quite partial to the salmon ones

Very poor Beams this season, again.

Sebago Oi Polloi due for release soon in dark brown ok, though are direct lift from Yuketens from few years back, got them but still tempted though think 200 is steep for where they will be made.

Some ok Universal Works designs but not convinced by the quality of how to they are made.

Some good things in Kafka amidst the Stone Island, shame it’s too far to visit.

By far the best bang for your buck plain tees

Raaaandom longshot- but is anyone here from Belfast? and do they know this company?

I ordered some jeans from them over a month ago and only had the standard “your order is being processed” message. After that nadda, nicht, nil.
I’m not that pissed, I just hope they’re (the people and the business) ok, my favorite pairs of jeans were the Levis Commuter Pro range (which they sadly discontinued) and I thought I’d never see them again until i discovered this brand which look like pretty bang on clones.
Alas they ellude my grasp again :frowning:

I have no personal experience but a mate of mine has some of their jeans and their reflective cycle jacket and really rates them. Hope they’ve not gone under.

With you on the Levis 511 Commuter jeans, had a few pairs including the sta-prest ish ‘Chino’ version and I absolutely wore them all to death, so good.

Not that this is the be all and end all, but this doesn’t make particularly good reading

Ouch. The skinny jeans on a 40 year old bloke comment at least raised a smile.

Time to claim your money back via your bank I think.

wow thanks for the detective work fam<3. Welp it doesn’t look promising. I genuinely hope dude is alright, it could be any number of things gone pear shaped, and so many businesses must have been hit hard in the last 20 odd months.

I’m 42, 6’4” and the pandemic has made me eat my feelings so nothing fits and I still feel the need to buy rubbish that I liked when I was a kid but couldn’t afford but can now. Im literally the last person earth who should be giving fashion advice but here goes.

I really like Engineered Garments particularly their pants, Palace for their shorts, SMOCK for their Yoyogi pants, socks, I go for Happy Socks or JCrew as both are cheap and hold up, Saturdays for sweatshirts, shirts and shorts, General Quarters for tshirts, Universal Works for jackets, Billy Reid and Theory for all things work and then various music tshirts just so people know that I’m cool.

Shoes are Nike and adidas, and for work Alden 405 boots.

Sunglasses are Persol or Ray-Ban and jeans are Nudie, they last for years.
