Jona Lewie - Stop the Cavalry was actually the first record I bought, which whilst an anti-war song and not a pre-meditated Christmas song, it gets wheeled out every year and references Christmas. I just read the Wiki and the only reason it didn’t make Christmas #1 was because two John Lennon singles beat it to #1 and #2 due to the fact he got shot in December, so it actually made #3 in the Xmas chart which under the circumstances is as good as anyone could do I guess.
Then there is this diamond
