Not sure if you’d know, but when his debut EP dropped in 2014, there were a lot of people convinced it was Nas using a pseudonym - it was a little internet conspiracy theory for a while with people speculating about why he’d done it.
There’s a similarity in tone and cadence (and certain pronunciation), but YOD has got his own style to me.
Glad to hear that people have enjoyed some of the recommends.
