Summer is just around the corner and sunset season is upon us.
What are the best Chillout songs of all time?
Better yet, what’s a peak memory sound tracked by an chillout tune?
For me it’s summer of 2019…watching the sunset at Experimental Beach in Ibiza…hearing Time by Panchanga Boys for the first time 
That’s a big question, I’m sure it will get a lot of diverse answers. Here’s a few that immediately spring to mind
Best of all time is quite subjective, but my best soundtracked moment:
Sitting on a hill at sunset with a cold beer and spliff, on Fraser Island, looking down at hundreds of sharks, dolphins and turtles gently feeding on shoals of fish.
Not frenzied at all.
I can’t say the same for the rest of the night, but for that moment, watching nature with this on my headphones, I was totally at peace.
This whole album for me.

Yeah, I posted my fave track off the LP earlier, but the whole thing really is a masterpiece.
Still get absolutely lost in this, even 40 years later. Seems to press a reset button. Been absolutely caning the Alex version too. Never gets old.
I love a lot of the Exist Dance, Hardkiss, etc west coast stuff like tranquility bass and of course this beauty:

Oh man, 100%. I actually discovered Wilson Tanner on this Forum a couple of years back and I immediately went to the Bandcamp and got both albums. Was always an Andras fan…didn’t he was 1/2 until I read through the liner notes.
This whole album. (Massively underrated)
Not your typical ambient/chill out but was tickling all the right nerve endings in our post-party chillout/floaty banger/k melt tent at the last festival I went to.
Along with Strings Of Eden and other floaty classics.
