That Mother of Pearl is brilliant. Early Aussie St Etienne vibes.

Very dreamy bit of new age zitheriness with Paul Horn on flute, just reissued

Acid meets Africa (via Japan)

Totally killer album of two side-long tracks. An organism of shredded memories, connections and relations. Existing because of mixtures, collages, escapism and rescues. Behind Goose are two of the currently most forward thinking and exciting young Swedish musicians: The pianist Johan Graden and DIY studio wizard Daniel Ögren. Sounding like nothing else. This album is a witchy brew of fevery nights and melancholic dreams. Co-release with italian label Black Sweat Records.

Just a quick one to say Lone Saxon EP 2 has now been released into the wild.

Dr Rob has kindly written a few words about the EP in September’s edition of looking for the balearic beat which you can check on the link below. With ‘Mind In Motion’ also featuring alongside some great tracks in his mix.

I heard it a few years back on some rando NTS show, took me a while to find… one of the great and much-needed reissues amid the recent pile-on…

New music from No Zu on pre-order today.

Love this band.

Check them if you like Liquid Liquid percussive/ post punk vibes.

Also realised looking at their Bandcamp that the first record of theirs I bought is also available as digital. Got a feeling it was a Test Pressing tip at the time. Highly recommended.

More on the Antipodean vibe….

This one from Eden Burns on the latest Public Possession Chill Pill comp is much slower than his normal stuff.

For those on that slo mo house shuffler/balearic/street soul vibe this could be worth checking.

Subtle break beats and acid lines. Was sounding nice on the headphones on a walk this morning.

Shit didn’t know there was a new Chill Pill comp out. The 3 preceding comps were top notch, thanks for the tip.

New one from the excellent Other Lands.
