This one’s a bit ‘five star hotel and spa’ but very nice nonetheless:

And this is cheesy as hell but good fun:

Yeah, that’s superb.

That Coastlines tune is beautiful. Another Japanese reggae tune which doesn’t
appear to be on YT any more is Ryuichi Sakamoto’s cover of Sister Sledge’s “You’re A Friend To Me”.

That UB40 record is genuinely one of my fav tracks of all time. Atmospheric production, breathy, claustrophobic percussion, disturbing lyrics and musically, the way the progression shifts over the baseline. Absolutely brilliant.

On the cheesy end of things–but with all the 90s vibes resurfacing, this Brazilian bomb could kill it at the right moment.

(https://youtu.be/2yHrF_fSy24) Balearic? Tick. Reggae? Hmmm… maybe just about.

There is usually a reggae cover of most popular tracks if you dig far enough. one for the deeper pockets.

I always thought this had a balearic vibe, mainly due to the nylon string guitar solo, I think x (see below, new users can only put 2 links in per post…)

You need to click on the ‘share’ button on YT and copy that, rather than just copying the URL in the header.
