Are You Producing Music Post Links Here So We Can Hear It

Alternatively search online there’s a ton of free Live Drum Racks, you might find something decent that way, not all the freebies are shit

Just realised I never got round to replying to this!

Thanks for you thoughts and I’m sure you’re right. The problem is I’ve been trying to do it myself for about three years now and I’m still not happy with the results. Either I’m too fussy (quite possible) or I just don’t have the ears for it, which would be rather depressing given how much of my life I’ve given over to choosing, listening, analysing, presenting and creating music…

Evening all! I produce and have had a few releases on various labels. My SoundCloud

Here is my latest remix for the Freebooter Lounge

Latest. Single leading up to new extended play, Paradise, out next month. This one, while a bit on a leftfield new wave, dream pop, chillwave tip, comes bundled with an acid-disco-lounge “Hacienda” mix. Fun one to make, it isn’t very often that I can touch on so many sonic influences at one time.

Summertime2.22024 by Cree on #SoundCloud

Polished up something I did a couple of years ago. Tried to make it sound summery.

I’m no expert. Not by a long, long way

Do you a/ b your mixes? If not then Metric AB or equivalent referencing software is a must.

Fact is many people can’t trust their ears with no frame of reference… I know I can’t.

So you need some wavs of (ideally 24 bit) commercial tracks to a/ b against in a comparatively similar style to what you’re working on-

Another piece of advice I read was to pick the 2 or 3 elements in the track which really make it work. They should be the focus of the mix and everything else is window dressing .

Useful as it helps you avoid trying to get everything to stand out all at once which just isn’t possible and kills the dynamics/ excitement

Final thing- do your initial mix down in mono. If it sounds good in mono you may be well on the way to a decent stereo mix. Also helps make sure you have no phasing issues

Again just things I’ve read over the years which I found useful.

This is very helpful I think. Aimed at Techno but sure it applies to most electronic music

Here’s my latest EP. 3 tracks inspired by latin styles, in particular bossa nova and merengue. I think (hope) that the TP audience will find the first track very playable - Astrud Gilberto vocals with added Spanish guitar and dub fx.

Ive created some free Download links just for TP, go to the link below.

A couple of unreleased tracks here from me, with some psychedelic visuals to alongside it. Any feedback would be much appreciated, I’m looking to start releasing stuff this year after about 4 years of producing.

I’ve got a busy release schedule planned for my Pacific Coliseum project, kicking off with an EP coming out next month! But for the time being, here’s a little edit I put together of one of my favourite tunes from recent memory.

Full release today. Massive shout out to the studio maestro @LEO_ZERO for all his help. Not that I would ever dream of comparing myself to AW, but Leo is definitely the Keith Tenniswood of this operation. Along with some help from Justin Deighton and mastering supremo Justin Drake.

After three years, I’ve finally returned to my more club and dance-centric side project, Unlimited Oceans. Rhythm Of The Heat is a 90’s inspired dance number and the lead single for my upcoming UO EP, True Faith. Included in this maxi-single is the titular song, an extended mix, a new beat + EBM inspired mix, and a downtempo Faint Waves mix.
