That Bublik-Draper game today was insane. When Bublik is in the zone he’s one of the hardest players to face in a tennis court.

Funny story behind this video. It was for the Smothers Brothers show and at the very end of Cream’s existence, and really they were only going through the motions (in this case literally, even). They didn’t want to do this song, which was written for a movie soundtrack (and big paycheck), and they were especially loath about miming it in some surreal comedy context. You can see how much Clapton is hating the whole experience, while ol’ Jack and Ginger seem to be having enough fun while amazingly not volleying each other in the face with the racquets themselves…

It was bonkers. The French commentators were saying it was the best match in their memory. Spike Lee looked like he was loving it too. Sinner was very decent in his speech after the game. Cool guy.

Probably one of the best matches ever. The level they were playing at for over 5 hours I’ve not seen before.
I couldn’t believe Sinner let that one go. Amazing match, I had a wedding gig and when I left home Sinner was 2 sets up. Throughout the gig I was still looking at my phone most of the time waiting for those little numbers to turn. I think Sinner will be waking up to nightmares of this game for a loooong time, but the fact that there is such a high level rivalry in Tennis again is awesome.
