Have fun. Looks like it’ll be pretty epic. I’m tempted by a late appearance if I can find some likeminded accomplices.
On the rattler back up feeling extremely special indeed. Absolute scenes though. Epic from top to bottom in fact. David Holmes surprisingly blew the doors off. Manfredas my highlight with a killer tracky house set in the small room. Strong sets too from Sean, Ivan and Craig Richards. One in one out situation for the ALFOS room. Good crowd mix, not too many fogeys with loads of ladies too. Shout to the fellow TP’er I met whose name ive completely forgotten
It’s great David Holmes is back mingling with us normal folks he’s been gone to long.
.
I’m still searching for a better recording of this david holmes mix from 1992…some of the mixing is unreal

From 10 minutes in its magic
Probably me (Zak) Agreed, was a thoroughly great night. Good crowd, great venue to (sh)amble around in. Somehow managed the full shift, powered by rum/beer/2hour nap after work. Adrian Sherwood for starters, Radioactive Man was spot on (well nervous before when we saw him) part live/DJ with a couple of unreleased TLS bits and got a fine reception. Largely bits and bobs of others for me thereafter but Manfredas was definitely the highlight- really, really great stuff, if only there was more room in there!
Pulled the trigger over the weekend.
Was all set to go on my tod, then within 24 hours of thinking “yeah, WTF, JFDI, etc” I’ll be meeting a pal in Toulouse (after spending a couple of days there solo) then we’ll head to Carcassonne and stay in a nice-looking place with its own pool with some of his ALFOS pals. It’s shaping up nicely already!
Don’t think this was posted… Another masterclass

Thanks to the wonderful people who organised and attended the amazing Todmorden leg of the AW60 celebrations. My first time at the venue and while I’m feeling pretty fractured today I’ll definitely be making the journey back.
It was great. My first time as well but already thinking about heading back up for a long weekend. Great venue and lovely part of the world.
Brilliant wasn’t it.
I’m originally from West Yorkshire, but didn’t know Todmorden that well. What they’re doing at The Golden Lion is something very special and something we need more of. Genuinely creative, un-corporate, inclusive and joyful - no wonder Weatherall loved it.
Acid Dads on tour.
Glad it was a good one. There is something in the air there that I cant quite put my finger on, but it is very special. Looking forward to going back for Dresden later this year
I’ve got tickets for Sean Johnston ALFOS night there next month.
Only been to Todmorden once before and that was to buy a Volkswagen Passat.
Cool story I know.
Found an old cream tape from mid 90s AW and Justin robertson. I’ll post it later but it might have been already posted.
Im listening to a mix & Love Corporation playing now
