Watching it in bits on the tube. Making me a bit emotional

Repeated on Sky Arts, on Sunday afternoon 2pm

I watch it every now and again. One of those life affirming documentaries. Full of piss and vinegar and full of the confidence of ignorance!

Definitely sounds like that was a fun record to be involved in. Was smiling away watching it last night.

Have you seen the Fleetwood Mac Rumours one? Also great.

Yeah. It’s brilliant. Not sure why I’d never come across the Screamadelica one before tbh. Ended up watching the Tears for Fears one too yesterday which was decent too.

Yeah I watched that recently as well. Got sucked into that album during the first lockdown it’s a real masterpiece.

It is. I feel, as a band, they are pretty underrated.

It’s here I think. Mind blowing and unmistakably Weatherall. Deep and heavy acid house.

Made this for my students, the perfect quote for creative endeavours and perhaps one or two of them may be interested enough to find out about him.

This reminded me of the ALFOS never knowingly exceed 122 bpm rule

Scanned in a piece from Generator magazine which Craig @Nice2CU2CUNice kindly sent me…

Was browsing through the weatherdrive at the weekend and noticed that the media folder now has loads and loads of interviews and articles in it. No idea if this one is there as there was far too much to read in one sitting.

The clip is from an old BBC show, maybe Dance Energy? Classic interview, it’s the one where he says he’s not really into the harder stuff

SUB TV? something like that

I am a sucker for those programmes. Iits embarrassing. When the wife walks in I have to turn over like I’m watching porn.

I am guilty of watching the same ones multiple times.

Have you seen the film where they discover the original version of their next album and go back to Muscle Shoals? It’s wonderful BBC Four - Primal Scream: The Lost Memphis Tapes

The ever excellent bagging area has a piece on the heavenly/Weatherall remixes and then a guest piece from the flight path estates Martin Brannagan on the launch night down the social. All well worth a read.

Tucked away at the end is a download link for David Holmes 27 minute mix of Smokebelch into Come Together.

Get em while they’re hot and cry just a little in remembrance of our lord sabre
