They’ve got back to me straight away this morning and said they’ll send another one and pay for the postage of the return so top marks to them. A real human got back to me too which was a treat.
Same with mine from Piccadilly! That’s why I try to avoid buying records by post, but wanted the artwork with this one. They’ve offered a replacement if I return but it’s a pain to send back etc.
I remember that article really well. I think he had played somewhere I’d been a few weeks before (Basics possibly) and was banging out really boring nondescript hard techno that was just impossible to get into. I remember we went into another room to escape it!
Five years since I made this playlist - might have to update it with some tunes I missed or have since been added to Spotify. In any case, here’s 14 hours worth of AW gold.
Did he tour Sabresonic club night? I’m sure I saw him with David Holmes and a local guy in Milton Keynes in '94 and he was in his crash helmet Techno phase. I’d just bought Theme and was expecting a bit more of that
He played Pure the same night that Twitch & Brainstorm played Sabresonic if that counts.
No idea mate, I was probably still deep in my Beasties phase at that point, didn’t get back into dance music until a year or 2 later.
Sorry didn’t mean to reply to you!
I saw him in the slam tent at T in the park 2007 maybe. Relentless unbearable techno all afternoon.
Me too. I copied it for a friend who absolutely hated it.
I never got on with his ahem singing TBH
Marmite!
Love it. Isn’t there some story about one of the participants blocking a vinyl release?
