Talking bout Law & Order:

Francois K’s ‘essential mix’ put me on to Law & Order. He only plays the second half, after the vocals, but it’s such a journey. Changed my ears. God Bless FK.

Grusane’s Harold Melvin edit on the 2nd Tape Edits 12 is an absolute killer.

Me too. I loved Walter’s style. To me it seemed so radical and forward thinking to approach remixes the way he did. Bringing all those percussive elements forward in the mix and stripping it all back, riding the groove and keeping it sounding raw and mostly unpolished. Like demos almost.

Disco Madness is still one of my favourite disco albums. His version of Let No Man Put Asunder sounds almost haunted.
