Okay, so I’ve finally got some nice shelves for my records, decks etc. HOWEVER, I am now plagued by unsightly cable spaghetti. Has anyone found a good solution for this?
Loads of stuff on the market, or should I just give in and accept the tangle?

Kind of depends what format your shelving is. I mean they don’t have to be visible/messy. If everything is plugged in then shoved down the back it will be.
I’ve been meaning to build some units into an alcove in front room and cable cleanliness/ channels will be a factor in the design. I do cabling for a living so its something i encounter every day to vastly varying standards.
Basically this thread is useless without pics, so you need to show us what a mess you’ve made so we can offer practical advice

You can get the white plastic ducting stuff from IKEA. It’s not great but can help to bundle cables together, particularly useful for long runs that at least hang out of sight (somewhat) down the back.

I’ve got some zipped netting ‘tubes’ from back in my Networking/Server Rack days that’s good, think it probably came with Dell switches or possibly APC UPS units so probably not home consumer available

Good point. Let me get the speakers on their stands which should mitigate a bit of the tangle and post a pic. Be great to get some advice.

I’ve made little 3D printed (and in some cases routed wood) cable clamps and hangers that keep my cables flush to the stands and table. This might be an option if you have access to a 3D printer?

Probably not for nice shelves, but these are great for table/desk height. Gets everything neat and out of the way, but not so locked down that its a pain to add and remove things.
