Don’t think we’ve had one of these for a while…we all love a bit of Wild Pitch I’m sure, so let’s hear ‘em, classics and lesser known gems.

Joint Venture. What a flipping record.

Even though it sounds like it was pressed on a melted car tire and mastered by toddlers.

I know it’s the obvious one. But this on a big system was just dynamite. Classic wild pitch endless building vibes.

All part of the appeal I guess!

The classic one, but so so good, just keeps giving :bomb:

Loved it when Guerilla started dropping those wild pitch bombs, nice transition from the earlier progressive stuff

I remember Pierre, Felix and Roy Davis coming in together to Guerilla. They had these mad big boxes of tapes just full of tracks. Loads of wild pitch and you can imagine lots of those records go on for 12 minutes so you couldn’t listen to many at a time… Bet there are loads of amazing unreleased ones on DAT between that lot though.

Nice! Bet there’s loads of stuff knocking around on old DATs, gotta be an opportunity there somewhere I’m sure

Dope tune, I wasn’t familiar with that one, so cheers for that :slightly_smiling_face:

Not Pierre but DJ Duke, still on the same Wild Pitch vibe. Crazy very late night very messy tune.

Love a bit of the pitch.

Always had a soft spot for this pumped up retooling of the sound

Pierre was obviously the originator of the sound, but there were a few others that took the baton, Duke being one of them, so many great tunes

Another Duke production. A free party classic of the day. Label is wrong on the video.
