Which reminds me, I found out only recently that label and those great Funky Chicken and Funky Chimes compilations of 70s Belgian funk a few years ago are done by none other than Dr. Lektroluv from the electroclash scene 20 years ago.

Iāve never heard of it before but a friend of mine got very excited when Juno had copies of Legito āBe Happyā so I snagged one. Been a while since heās gotten this excited about a record so I bought it blind. Clips sound good.

A truly stunning release form Melbourneās Alex Albrecht, this one on Mule Musique - 6 tracks of warm inventive analog flecked mellow house. Recommended.
Havenāt purchased anything in this style for ages but Iām glad I did - 4 racks of deep dubby driving house.
