Just got this Nigerian private boogie LP, Mandy - Breakthrough in nice condition (which is not obvious with African records), includes 3-4 hot tracks. Hereās couple of them.

Great record! Iāve played Working Girl so many times i think i need to let it rest for at least this year.
Has anyone ever bought from Horizons Music before? I stupidly ordered some records without first doing my research and only afterwards read reviews on the store. Letās just say Iām not very confident my records will turn up
I havenāt had any issues with them in the past, I think Iāve used them a handful of times. Iāve got something on order from them at the moment which wasnāt in stock anywhere else so weāll see how that goesā¦
Not personally, but a good mate did. Letās just say it did NOT go at all well. Apart from abysmal feedback thereās whole threads about them on other forums Iāve been shown. Good luck

In all the many years and hundreds (thousands?) of orders Iāve made via mail order/online stores/eBay/discogs, Iāve only been ripped off by two sellers. The last time was Horizons Music during the pandemic. They even had the audacity to contact me about a year later to explain and ask if I still wanted my records (erā¦. the ones I paid forā¦. yes, please) and then promptly ignore all my messages again.
They are thieves.

If you have a look at their Discogs page thereās no feedback for the last 6 months and nothing for sale.
Maybe they had a stocktake and realised they actually had none

Iām not entirely sold on this whole jungle and dnb revival right now, but I did pick this up recently and thought that it sounded very good. Like anything there will be people putting out good dnb and jungle and there will be bad stuff as well.

I ordered from Horizons twice. First time was through Discogs and went fine. Second time was direct on their website. A record was listed in stock when out of stock everywhere else. A few days after the order was placed I received an email asking me if Iād like to order something else instead as itās out of stock. I asked for a refund and then had no reply for about a week. As I had paid using Paypal, I started a claim that way and got my money back pretty quickly. Just had to attach the email telling me the item is out of stock, as proof to Paypal. So if you are ordering from a website you donāt have much experience with, try to use a credit card or Paypal for the extra security.
When you place the order, and every time you try to contact the shop via email, youāll get an automated response asking you to be patient as itās a small business. Well Iām also a small business - my music career is going so slowly that Iāve had to take on a corporate job during the day. Yet I donāt ask for patience with my payment when placing an order. I either place an order and pay immediately or I donāt place an order.

I just got this too, great sounding record. B1 stood out and sounds like Inner City put through a dub blender. All tracks are 111 BPM for future reference!
