Whats the last record you bought?

I’ve been out of the loop for a few years so didn’t really know anything about him, other than he shared the same name as the redneck golfer with the mullet, i’m re-educating myself, largely thanks to this great site, i had a listen on the Juno site to his 12s & was pleasantly suprised how great they sounded.
I’ll look into his back catalogue now.

AOR vol 5
Bitter End - First Narcissus

I know we’ve said it before but just looking at what people are doing for RSD and the price of new records is pretty nuts…

The list of RSD releases gets longer every year. Not sure the quality increases in line with it.

I don’t think I’ve ever bought anything RSD related and I hate the way it’s now so big/sponsored ffs!/takes up valuable pressing time on hugely expensive 7” versions of major label b0ll0cks.

It’s a cliche but for most of us lot no doubt “every day is a record store day”.

RSD itself is probably the one day I’ll avoid buying any records.

Its very true. And honestly it didn’t seem that there was much that you couldn’t get if you didn’t want it via discogs. Or not as far as I could see… I got bored after pg 2 tbh.

This and brightly colored crap-fidelity pressings of essential (and mostly common/cheap) albums are the worst record collecting trends in forever.

Swerved the RSD releases and grabbed a second-hand copy of Cupid & Psyche 85 by Scritti Politti.

I’m not really one for rsd but headed to disc world in debtford, they were doing 21% off all stock so copped a few bits. never heard that starshine record before, a nice discovery. the raymond castoldi comp has been on the wantslist for a while.

Love international x test pressing fantastic man release “cloud manager” just arrived par avion—great stuff. May it be a long and fruitful collab

Just ordered up the CFCF 2-disc retrospective; got into him thru the on vacation remixes which i found thru TP years ago. The dude has range, some real glitchy bubblegummy stuff in a PC music/AG cook mode

Never even considered going record shopping on RSD. Sounds like a nightmare, probably can’t even relax and listen to a stack of records.
