Whats the last record you bought?

Jee-whizz! I remember that record came out ages and ages after it had been announced. I felt like I’d been waiting years.

So I’m mates with a guy called Ian Carmichael. Used to see him out and about during my clubbing days in Manchester. We’re still online friends and chat infrequently. I knew he was a music producer and is currently living in Barcelona. Out of curiosity I put his name into Discogs, and it turns out he’s THE Ian Carmichael from One Dove.

I feel a right prick!

If you don’t have it already, it’s well worth tracking down the album that the Sipho Mabuse song is taken from cos it contains this completely flipping amazing afro-electro banger:

Sipho Hotstix Mabuse - Breakdance

Still pretty cheap the last time i looked…

I don’t own it. This was in a pile and I vaguely remember a reissue possibly saying “Italo House classic” and that stuck in my head, so I grabbed it. Will get the album now. Thanks!

Just got it for $11 with shipping.

I actually bought them near home then trained it 80 miles to Brighton to see my old man.
Not see sunlight & sea for months!

If I’d have tried a cool shot like that, a random gust of wind would have blown them all into the sea and left me flailing.

Got a copy somewhere but it’s been rinsed over the years

mine finally arrived today. cameo appearance by an old new beat compilation.

i opted for the black vinyl version (as i almost always do) - it’s kind of funny that as far as discogs numbers go, more people seem to have the “limited edition” colored vinyl variants.
