When I used to run a night in Dalston we booked 22a DJs but couldnāt say we had Tender but because of his agent fees etc. Anyway he then turned up and played for ages unannounced and basically for free for us, total gent!

Picking up my copy from Marion this weekend. Been streaming it flat out, love it. Always wondered with these LI compsā¦ has each track selected been played at some point over the festival that year, or is it more that whoever is compiling just puts forward the comp based on their āfeelā for that year? Maybe itās not really related to that festival that year at all and just a good opportunity to pull a nice comp together lol

Well itās a combination of all those things. A reason to explain via music how they catch the vibe of the festival and then we try and license the tracks for them as closely as possible to the original tracklist. The Palms one is really great. Gatto and Swimmers ones were also pretty great for me.
