it’s funny. i have this thing with my 15yo son where we have musical “conversations”, he’ll play me something he’s listening to and i “reply” from the crates (digital or otherwise). this album was my reply when he brought Sault to the table, he “allowed” it…
Hahaha. Its a patchy album (I think the hip hop stuff dates it) but where it’s good it’s pretty amazing.
Picked up a copy of ‘Hear The Drummer Get Wicked’ recently for a quid, i’d never heard the B Side before but it’s good, gave it a spin this morning
Went to see them again on Friday night, was a bit apprehensive but some really beautiful moments in the set.
