This was a really tough one for me–a slog. Hofmann’s translation is excellent. However, friends who grew up in the USSR/DDR found it really spoke to them, very eye-opening and nostalgic.

Anyone else read The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle?
I’m on my second read through and it’s really uncomfortable in the sense that you sit there and think ‘fuckkkkkkkkkkk’ constantly.
Cuts like a laser beam through your bullshit.

This book helped me a lot at a challenging time. It resonated as it just made sense. But of course it takes practice and constant reminding to integrate into our lives.
