What you going to?

Less of the E17 bashing😜 They’re playing near me soon. I didn’t realise they had more members than Sugababes though😂

This was a big Sasha tune in ‘93 if you’re prepared to admit to liking that sort of thing in 2021.
Useful nugget from the Discogs page-

‘Levy and Friends was an undercover alias used by the record label to disguise dance remixes of tracks by pretty-boy pop band East 17. Levy was the name of a dog owned by one of the band’

Quite Christmas drinks out

The incident happened yards from my house, while he was visiting his Nan. The little road is on a slope, so not hard to imagine that if you had consumed too many, er, “ jacket potatoes”, that you could find the car rolling over your leg. There was a lovely spoof blue plaque commemorating the event for a while.

Lots of fun at Lowlife last night. Bill & Frank on good form and a great crowd of lovely people under the mirrorball. Spiritland at its best.

Anyone here go to Lucky Cloud on Sunday night??

yes, you.

In the smoke for the weekend 3 to 5th Feb. Anything I should go to? Got tickets for Cerrone at Jazz Cafe on Friday 4th.

I am tempted by that Cerrone gig. Just worried he might play lots of new songs. If it’s all classics it’ll be great.

Thanks. Have tickets for that already. Worth the punt, I reckon.

First gig of the year after more or less two years of cancellations and silly sheep pen bubble gigs. Two nights in Dublin supporting a good mate and we are bloody excited… Probably better known for his New jackson stuff here but he plays a mean guitar… :green_heart: This acoustic version of the New Jackson House bomb made it mine is brilliant…

and the Boom Boom version

Love the other side of this record. So good.

Yeah and it’s 8 or 9 years old now  the night mail from a few years ago still sounds great every time I hear it… He had us on the Guest list when he supported solomun closing at destino 3 years ago. We were the only ones leaving as soon as solomun came on after New Jackson, it was nearly impossible to get through to swarming crowd but we made it to the exit… Good times lol
I remember hearing HMD playing this in Dublin one night and blowing the roof off

I’m very excited to see it, not heard either in years. They just better not schedule them against Kraftwerk :grimacing:

Moodyman played here loads last time at a festival near where we live. Great show he has girls from his show come into the crowd with trays of Shots at the end… Another time in Cork he played behind a white sheet all night, we could just see a silhouette and when the sheet dropped at the end he had a towel over his head…
