Yeah. Was getting updates from @Mandarina
Moonboots!
What did he play?
Moon played loads of classics. Deetour (Karen Young), Lets start the dance (Bohannon), For your love (Chilly), Funk Express…
Fair few classics, Stop Bajon, Marsha Hunt, Hot RS, Aiea Mwana…banging them out. Missed the live stuff unfortunately but caught a bit of Phil Mison before, also ace.
which version of AIE Mwana did he play? So many good ones - can never figure out my fave!
Shazam said the T Kolai edit!
Was hoping to get to Dingle Co. Kerry this weekend for the recording of the other voices tv show. All the church gigs are long sold out. But it’s the pop up gigs and dj sets all over the village are the main attraction… Everyone from BC camp light to New jackson are playing… Classic The National from a few years ago…dem drumz
and Amy’s visit
I was literally just about to post the same. Going too. Slightly apprehensive, could go either way couldnt it!?
Exactly, wasn’t my choice but got talked round to it! Now properly looking at the lineup I’m fairly optimistic:smile: quite a few I’ve not seen so
I know dingle very well my mother is from Tralee
Beautiful part of the world is the dingle peninsula.
Many a child hood memory from there.
Dingle is stunning. Had an amazing time there last May, and we hit the jackpot with the weather.
Beach was heaving though…
@Pauleast77 @Joe Hacienda Classics at Castlefield Bow is an annual highlight so enjoy
Nice it starts & finishes early, might go
The timings were definitely an added attraction
Mate is taking me to tryouts tonight. Not been before.
Have fun. Really do need to get to one of these, although I fear my days of partying through the night are a dim and distant memory…
Actually dropped into the mastersounds thing there tonight, had a beer and a chat, nice guys! In ldn til Monday and may also do the dance for drama Sunday too, depending on what shape I’m in after corsica on Saturday!
Talking of timings, the 15 mins John Da Silva set before Inner City takes some beating!
