Yeah when I checked him out it was something I would like… A younger workmate sent me the link and I think what he liked are starred… I always think if you see 4 or 5 acts at a festival it’s worth the money.

We went years ago on a skate mission from Dublin. To say that the original park was hard to skate is an understatement, then to see Penny and Shipman absolutely destroy the park was unbelievable.

Off to see Minami Deutsch tonight, the finest Japanese krauters around
absolutely brilliant gig last night. Top recommend for fans of psychedelic/droney/krauty/hypnotic numbers that go on for 25 minutes. Or as they describe themselves: “repetition freaks”.

I went yesterday and heard some miles Davis on reel to reel tape- if you closed your eyes you would think they were in the room. Would have been even better if they played some dance/dub/reggae music to really see what the speakers are made of!

Nice, jealous. Would be nice to hear as some kind of (unobtainable?) bench mark for upcoming speaker purchase, rare to hear a great system in such a listening-centric setting.

I know all the heavy hitters on the bill… A few like Overmono are new to me and alot of people looking forward to them,. Barry can’t Swim I checked out… He’s doing a live set and a dj set. Not bad, bbq friendly house as a mate calls it…
