I took my kids to the local fountains in the summer for a play and there was an event with food stalls and some performers, including a brass band playing pop songs. It did sound quite nice and clever.
But can you imagine paying for public transport to get to the O2 and then pay for entry and then have Pete Tong conduct an orchestra playing repetitive dance music? Iād rather sit on my finger.
