Anyone at giant steps tonight?

Did you make it?

Just added a edit as I thought the photo was a great one and Damian’s smile says it all. Photo Credit to Hayley Tanner.

Well that was somethng else.

Absolutely packed all night, crossing over to moderate choas with the over use of smoke machine early on (as if there is such a thing). Some young woman asking for David Guetta plus the usual really stupid bloke who wouldn’t stop asking for some other crap we wouldn’t have and wouldn’t get off the stage. Mickey was getting angry, I was going to ram a sharpie up his nose and Jon made him a note below.

The last two hours were truly a magical moment of dancefloor (edit) Damian was on a house blinder of a set. It was great fun to help faciltate (me being like some kind of Poundland Mancuso). There’s been something bubbling under for more than a decade here in the hinterlands of Milton Keynes.

What a great collective of newcomers and regulars who stayed till the end and well done to Jon and the DJ crew for making the effort with it for so long.

Does anyone feel we are riding a bit of wave over the last few months on the scenes?

The mrs and her mob have roped us all in to Woodland Disco which wasnt looking great (gok wan ffs) but the second raft of the line up was released and it now has David Morales, Nightmares on Wax , Smokin Jo and original Notts head Cas Roc playing so all is not lost.

My brother told me he was playing last night and a woman came up to him with a paused YouTube video of Steve Aoki on her phone and was like PLAY THIS NOW

Yes I feel there is definitely more nights on for music lovers of all ages with out all the bells, whistles and phones. Even here in Ireland we are spoilt for choice with party’s on in bar and restaurants, djs playing vinyl and usually finish at 1 or 2 am… Looking at the lineups for ibiza this year its all gone very Vegas…

We were having a collective no phones moment as we had an brilliant dancer turn up onstage. We danced to the entire length of lovebreak without getting bored, It was almost like 6am in 1993 in the Gardening Club and I had to suppress a tear at this moment.

Lucky cloud last night was incredible- best yet! We got there about 6.30pm and it was packed and in full flow Collen worked her magic and took us on a proper journey- played more less known disco which was great- just as you started to tire she would switch it up giving you a new burst of energy. The system was abit more pumping than the last times I’ve been which was great- best night out I’ve had in ages- great mix of ages too which is nice.
Next time I go I’m not going to out the night before so my legs can go the distance! My mates steps counter app said we did 35k over the two nights!

Ooh that Stim Dyzl track must have sounded epic. It’s a top tune. Hypnotic groove.

Unfortunately not this time, shout out norovirus :joy::joy:

A few years back we did Lucky Cloud then hopped in an Uber to Horse Meat Disco… Best day out ever.
Must do it again soon. Hoping to get to LC in June. Thanks for the great tracklist effort Henry.

We will make those connections soon chap. Could you bump your event with a bit of bio nearer the time? I can’t make the Garibaldi that night as I’m going to the sister night of Hi Res on that evening.

You can ā€˜borrow’ it. I don’t want to be seeing T shirts or slipmatts on the web.
