Melanie Charles this Sunday night in Sydney. I’ve been telling people to go, but nobody seems to have heard of her over here!

Day dance at the BBE Store on the 8th November.

Went to see Todd Rundgren in Brussels last night.
Impressive gig of two hours with the man in physical and vocal top shape, not bad for someone with 77 years of age. Incredible band also and a set list ranging from heartfelt songwriting to proggy excursions from his Utopia catalog to a cappella singing and quirky drunk pirate songs.
Didn’t expect that much before the concert but was pleasantly surprised!

That’s a great lineup. Some top drawer talent and a couple I’ve not heard play before.

I didn’t make it this year. However, is it just me that finds the location a bit uninspiring? I get it: there’s campsite facilities there already so that’s why, but it’s basically just a field

I agree with Andrew, and nice to see him getting a good billing.
He was a UK pioneer of deep techy jazzy house with sought after records in the early 90s that were comparable to the best Detroit gear in that style. Great DJ too.
Check out Tokyo Offshore Project as a starter.
