Rotation party for the whole weekend. I would say a few in this forum will be there, right?

Nils frahm incredible Friday night - everything in that hall sounds so good. Took a quick picture of his set up before it started, there was one synth where he put gloves on and seemed to be stroking it.

That was his glass armonica, you can see it quite well at the beginning of this. Whilst he was playing that the single light on stage was throwing his shadow up on the wall and it looked like something from Grims fairy tales, just stunning

I was at last nights and he was excellent as always but by the end of it, the sound of the upright piano and delay was hitting my tinnitus really quite badly and I found More and Says a bit hard going.

Gutted. Had to pass my ticket on to a friend as my Dad’s health has gone downhill. Been wanting to catch Nils live for years. Glad you enjoyed!

Back and recovered from Tisno…had a lovely lovely time once again…made it to two sunrise sessions on the Friday (having gone straight through) and the Monday, where I had just set the alarm early. Vibes were impeccable, really nice mix of people - different nationalities and generations etc. Optimo boat was another big highlight as well as OG on the beach stage who was solo after Charlie Bones got yogurt on his passport! I suspect we’ll be back!

Think I gave you a wave/thumbs up as I was staggering away on the Friday morning…wasn’t really capable of coming over to say hello properly!

The yogurt thing?? Haha no apparently he came on the radio to explain the story…passport got covered in yogurt years ago, and it had seeped so deep that the metadata wasn’t readable and apparently they wouldn’t let him fly to Croatia last week. He deffo wasn’t there so could be feasible? The other guy he runs the DoYou radio with was very good though - they were gonna play b2b.

Yes that’s what happened, Bones ended up being a guest on Dave Holloways show (who was meant to be covering for him!) Glad to hear OG alone was good, saw him play at Gala and he’s a great DJ

To celebrate the fact I’ve sorted a new job starting 12th August I’m giving away my two tickets for Make A Dance all night at the Carpet Shop in Peckham on Friday 9th August.

Can’t be having a big night out just before the new job starts!!

Shame as will no doubt be a top evening with the MAD chaps.

Shout if you want the tickets.
