Hey folks, I’ve just posted a bunch of re-edits (heavily re-edited, that is) as a new release on my labour of love label.
These are all reworks of 70’s-80’s Israeli tracks (One of them was actually released on vinyl through Slothboogie on December 2020)

First single from the forthcoming Mr. Bird EP has dropped today. He fuses the spirit of Fela at an atomic level with deep, far out spacey synths, gives it a rocket fuel bass injection & launches into deep, cosmic, Afrofuturistic territory

I had the pleasure of remixing Forbidden Mind off Ali Renault’s latest EP, Nawce Blizzard.
Really pleased with how it turned out and a bit honoured to be allowed to mess with such quality material. The original just as well as the whole EP is epic.

Next release on my label is out this Friday. A couple of tracks I’m quite proud of.
One on the chuggy side of things and the other on a more conventional house tempo.

Just released a couple of new tracks over at my label’s Bandcamp page. Apart from a handful of remixes and a lot of collaborations I’ve had a quiet year with my solo output so I thought I’d set myself a challenge and see if I could write some new material before months end. The upshot is these two tracks came together over this last week, and strike rather a reflective and chilled tone as we enter the peaceful (!?) period.
I’m commiting to a regular release slate next year with my Shades Of Sound label; below is a peek of what’s already confirmed to come. Really excited to share some truly wonderful music from some great artists so stay tuned x

My DIY re-edit/rare groove/balearic EP with 6 rare Belgian/Dutch 7”'s from the 80s is finally finished. Cool sticker artwork by Turbo Island & extended versions by George Hysteric the italo butcher. Housey new beat with pianos from heaven & synths from hell, nicefunky souljazz tune straight outta Maastricht, hypnotic new wave instro chugger, sleazy discodub cover of Flash & The Pan, blue-eyed boogie with a thick disco breakdown & franglais balearica with Spanish guitars.
