What music libraries apart from iTunes

Can anyone recommend a music library to use instead of itunes for a large number of music files (195K) that can still be played through an iphone, and uploaded to the cloud?

It might not be exactly what you want but I’ve had a good experience with iBroadcast | Your Music. Everywhere. free version

And, I have had a plex setup for some time and just started messing around Plexamp, It’s a music version, I do think you need a subscription though.

iTunes/Music is terrible these days. The meta data for artwork constantly goes wrong and the amount of albums that get split up is maddening.

I don’t think Apple are what they once were

A couple of years ago, I set up an old mac mini on my home network with navidrome on it and it’s been working really well. I use beets to import stuff which keeps the metadata consistent. The only thing that’s missing is being able to listen when away from home. Seems to me the simplest way would be just to copy stuff to the phone’s internal storage - a manual process, but these days, manually cataloging music feels like a relief from the aggressive automation all around, or like a small act of resistance, almost.

I have been looking for something like this for ages. Thank you for the share. It almost perfectly fits what I was after. Its upload rate is rapid, I like how it skips duplicates and it even tidy’s my badly labelled tracks. The android app is decent too for playlists etc. The only drawback is it plays 128kb tracks on the free version
