I would never buy it but having been subjected to it by friends many moons ago I have a soft spot for Metallica. Obey your master and all that

I don’t mind Black Sabbath and that late Sixties early Seventies stuff. But as a little Mod growing up, Iron Maiden and all that shit made me wanna puke :joy:

Don’t tell me you dislike sabotage. The video alone justifies their entire existence (I love the Beastie boys)

Yeah funny I don’t mind some heavy stuff. I was really into Husker Du and skate punk kinda vibe in the mid to late 80’s!

Still listen to a lot of tracks from the 80s/90s skate videos. Oh to be young again. Now I am just an old man skating with his daughter desperately trying to be cool.

I am determined to educate myself so will heed your advice and report back.

After listening I wouldn’t consider that my interpretation of ‘classical’. I am now a convert.

Loved Husker Du, Sugar and all Bob Mould stuff. Watched a DKs Doc last night which was OK but no Jello.:+1:

Hugely Disagree. Some of their stuff is amazing. The secrecy around who they are is a bit pretentious but you can’t deny their talent especially given how prolific they have been.

I want to give a big up to Bartok as well. Try “Mikrokosmos” and report back to the thread.
