What don't you get

Theres more than a few. I guess if you’re not “from money” and you get offered a hefty sum for a few hours/days work its easy to say yes.

Ms P Spice won’t be happy if he doesn’t include one of her ditties to adequately showcase the audio capability of BW.

Nothing shows the majesty of B&W speakers than the 7" of this

I use it to test every new HiFi purchase

This is mildly terrifying. The UK act with the most top 40 hits of the 1970s was Showaddywaddy with 23 top 40 songs and in the 1980s it was Shakin’ Steven’s with 33 top 40 hits. What the fuck was going on over there? Hang your heads in shame etc

Christ you can actually hear where they’ve auto-tuned out of utter necessity

So has Roisin Murphy gone full right wing now? Saw a post where Elliott Eastwick called her Fanny Rampling, so just wondering.

Ironic him throwing shade at people :grimacing:

I don’t get involved in trans debates. It’s not for me to stick my oar in. It feels like a complicated and divisive issue my brain can’t process. It doesn’t feel like a left/right issue to me.

I do think though that in any democracy people should have a right to express a pov without having a mob on their back. There is something really ugly about witch hunts, because where does it actually end?

Surprised by that! I thought it would be Madonna or MJ

I agree. My philosophy generally in life is to leave adults alone to live their life their own way as long as they’re not harming anyone else, and to be empathetic and supportive of people who are often pretty vulnerable.

But any deviation from a very fixed viewpoint on this issue seems to lead to abuse (from both extremes of the debate). It’s awful how toxic it has become - it’s pretty much impossible to discuss any aspects of it on social media. No idea what RM is up to really going on a march which does contain some bigots, but the heated response then leads to more bile and division. All very sad.

Alternative opinion ahoy. Don’t go on marches with a bunch of TERFS and (by association) Far Right fucknuggets and people won’t call you out on it.

I’m finding myself in agreement with Eastwick - fine to celebrate queer culture when it suits…

If people want to challenge feminists with facts and reason, I’m cool with that. What I think is out of order is legions of anonymous accounts calling women ‘cunts’ and other abusive names just for having a different viewpoint.

I don’t follow her on any social media but I’ve got friends who have interacted with her on FB for a long time who say she’s totally lost the plot recently. All pretty grim.

Imo she made some valid points regarding the use of puberty blockers, and you could tell it was coming from her being the concerned mother. These actions can have irreversible implications. Still just an opinion though.

It’s the goading that gets me. Have an opinion by all means, but stoke the fire and expect a backlash.

I agree.

I don’t want to see an erosion of trans rights nor feminist rights.

Both groups have fought and continue to fight for recognition in different ways and from sometimes differing perspectives.

That said-as someone that identifies as male in relation to both sex and gender I don’t feel it is my place to have an opinion to some extent on these issues- in the same way that men pontificating about the pros and cons of abortion can very often seem inappropriate and unwarranted.

That said, I’m happy to be an ally and support anyone’s right to self determination where no harm is done.

Sadly I feel that celebrity incursions into the debate very often lack nuance and can undermine not only any point they may be trying to make but also end up causing offence.

Planet is f***ing big enough- surely there’s space for everyone
