Love the ‘Falling Up’ story, never get bored of that tune.
Nailed it when talking about phones on the dance floor too. Great interview
Have been listening to all these recently and very good they are too. Slightly older but the DJ Bone one was excellent too- loved hearing about his talent, journey and how Garnier totally sorted him out and set him on his way in Europe
Brilliant person, fascinating interview.
Came across this on IG earlier (out to Palo Santo Discos) but just watched the entire thing on YouTube - incredible footage of Gal Costa performing on a mad Italian TV series called “Stryx”, which was a hell/underworld themed Top of the Pops style thing that only lasted 6 episodes due to numerous protests over the content… Grace Jones and Asha Puthli also featured in it apparently although I haven’t tried finding any footage of those performances yet.
You lot will love this!

I really enjoyed this. Seems like truly trying to make a home base for people which is sorely lacking when most people open an establishment.
The gaming community has wet its pants over this. Looks beyond epic though doesnt it. I just hope the gameplay is something fresh and not a retread of the past three versions
I’ve not got any of the current gen consoles but i’ll buy one just to play this, looks

Kev and his son Cona are descendants of outlaws who labored to make themselves legal purveyors of sun-grown, craft cannabis in Humboldt County, California. In the south of France, Hélène and her son Aurélien produce renowned, biodynamic wines on a vineyard that they’ve fought for centuries to keep in their family. In this sumptuous and moving film, Emmy-nominated filmmaker, Rebecca Richman Cohen, parallels the profound joys and deep uncertainties of two farming families as they fight to protect their legacy, their craft, and their land. Executive produced by Berner.
Saving for tonight, no idea if it’s good but has two of my favourite things. Can’t get the Vid to embed for some reason.
Lovely vibes for a sunny Sunday
It always seems so awkward when a DJ is filmed playing some tunes. Especially when you’re not having to furiously rifle through record bags and cue up vinyl or doing a lot of mixing/cutting etc. Literally just standing there. An audio art form doesn’t translate well to a visual one. Nice sounds though.
perhaps its to revise that staple of ‘House tracks on Totp but theres no band, just a Producer and we can’t find him’ compilations of dancing skeletons and Julius the cat movies that looked old and maybe out of copyright.
