Rewatching madmen and on season 6. My opinion that it is the best thing ever written and produced for television is reaffirmed.

Just watched the movie Rockers this past weekend. If you are at all interested in reggae or dub, I would highly recommend the movie.

upon recommendation from this group, i watched the conny plank documentary last night. i thought it was pretty good and enjoyed hearing from a lot of those folks, seeing a lot of that old footage.
here’s what bothered me most: for a 90 minute film, i swear 30 minutes of it was a pensive-looking stephen plank getting in and out of cars, taxis, planes and trains, and fiddling about with his headphones. we get it, he travelled the world to talk to the folks his dad worked with - but that was an excessive amount of b-roll.

Anyone else feel like their drinking out of trad pint pots is a little period incorrect? It’s lager they’re drinking, straight glasses were in by that point. Ale drinkers, pint pots yeah…

I really enjoyed this, proper stylish grown up drama that left you wanting more. Erin Doherty was great.

Watched the first 2 episodes last night. Agreed, it’s very well done. Looking forward to seeing how it develops
Watched The Hunt on Netflix last night, dark comedy about liberals hunting down rednecks, not sure what political point it was trying to make, just enjoyed it for the gory action & dark comedy.
At 90 mins long it doesn’t drag like most modern films.
Betty Gilpin from GLOW is good as the lead character.

Just finished ‘This Is Going To Hurt’ on iPlayer. Great stuff. Ben Whishaw was excellent. We need our NHS!
I’m also getting lots of warm fuzzy comfort from ‘How To With John Wilson’ Season Two.
