I’ve been enjoying the Responder. Pretty bleak though. Like most of the stuff I seem to watch!
yeh, it hasn’t been bad. his accent is pretty decent. I feel like they wanted stephen graham tho.
Yes! Exactly what my wife and I said. Martin Freeman playing Stephen Graham playing a cop is obvs the next best thing for the producers.
Watched this last night. Superb, really immersive. Felt like I was on shift with them in the kitchen. The one shot take is very impressive. How good is Stephen Graham, just flawless every time
Yeah that was proper mental
Love Pan’s Labyrinth but he lost me with Shape of Water - what a tremendous, dream-like opening only to have the whole thing fall apart in Cold War clichés and romantic pabulum. Also a complete waste of the usually excellent Michael Shannon. Grrrr
On my list, might watch it this weekend.
There’s no one like him… So good
i’m pretty much full-on anti-CGI. it takes all the fun out of everything. i used to love watching movies and wondering how they did what they did. now, for the most part, the answer’s always the same.
Got round to watching the Micheal hutchence doc on iPlayer. Really enjoyed it. I didn’t really know much about him and just had this impression that he was your bog standard pop star but seemed like like there was a bit more to him than than.
Some great unseen footage and touching moments throughout.
The Mind of Herbert Clunkerdunk on BBC3 is back again. Brilliant!
Mad as a box of frogs, great telly and my mates in it. 10/10 #biased
So good! That and Ogmios, it’s tempting to think there is a higher being looking out for us
Love watching that with my 12-y o, it’s our humour sweet spot
Watched this last night, a maddening & frustrating watch & ending.
Wish the producers would have dug into this guy’s background more to try to find out what makes him the deeply weird & cruel individual he is.
Hope karma comes around to greet this turd one day.
Haha no not Spencer, one of the regulars
My daughter been watching loads on this
The Taika Waititi film was great but we have just started the What We Do in the Shadows serial…if you like sort of twisted offbeat humor it may be just your thing. Total spoof of reality-tv type programs. I’d like to think that if vampires truly lived among us they’d be this clumsy & inept. On Hulu in the US, BBC iPlayer in the UK. Fucking hilarious.
