What are you watching?

Spot on.

Some of the location shoots on this were around my way. I hope that increases your enjoyment. Good to see that when Netflix want some strange universal amalgam of anywhere and nowhere, they choose my ends. Local FB group is very excited about it, but not as excited as they are about roadworks.

So so good.

Just watched a couple of episodes. The best thing I have seen on TV for a very long time.

Haha yes definitely this. Making the two sides of Stockport market square appear to be different towns was quite amusing. It’s absolutely terrible but you don’t realise until it’s too late. Also James Nesbitt is borderline unwatchable :joy:

Watched ‘I Swear’ at the weekend. A magnificent film.

Just watched Who Killed The KLF documentary - they were absolutely nuts! Mad how much money was sloshing around in the music industry in those days. Taking a load of journalists to a multi day rave on remote Scottish island with a quality street tin full of pingers :joy:

The book spent a bit more time on what might have inspired them where this documentary was more about what they did. Definitely worth a watch.

Finished Pluribus, glad I stuck with it. Thought it was excellent. One of the most original dramas there’s been in years. Some of its internal logic doesnt stack up but you just have to go with it. The central draw is obviously Rhea Seehorn, and the ride she goes on. Wonderful stuff, all hail Vince Gilligan.

Agreed. After a very disappointing second series of Severance, this made up for it massively

Not too sure how long this will last but someone has attempted to recreate every detail of vintage MTV

Really enjoyed this tonight…

I’m a sucker for fun trash like the Traitors - been enjoying the new series. I realise the celebrity version boosted the franchise to the wider public, but there’s something about real people playing for money that’s for keeps that gives the show a more exciting edge.

It’s great family fun

Disco Ruin, an exhaustive (and frankly exhausting) history of Italian nightclubs

The first half strongly leans into architecture not music & is fascinating, loads of beautiful footage of ruined superclubs
