I started watching / enjoying but the blipvert fetishisation of hyper expensive products really got in my nerves & i had to stop watching.
I couldn’t help but thibk it reeked of product placement.
Opening episode was strong though (they always get the most expensive best directors in for the first episodes of new tv series it seems to me - although he did do a further two so maybe not in this instance- setup is fun though)
New Love Death & Robots
Ignore 1st episode, for some reason a Red Hot Chili Peppers video
400 Boys is amazing
Pee-wee as himself. Superb tv.
Screening tomorrow evening
Evening all. Our little clubnight Soul Buggin’ turned 20 and to celebrate we made a documentary. Features loads of dancers and DJs from across the decades. It’s now up on YouTube for all to view. Enjoy.
Chris Packham’s latest documentaries on neurodiversity, just as brilliant as the previous series.
Big ups to all concerned. Lovely video too!
What channel is it on? Looked on the iplayer but couldnt find it.
It’s on the iplayer if you look in documentary bit for “Inside Our Minds”
nice one. Thanks
Thanks!
20 years is some going. Well done.
Enjoying this… well written
Also just watched Perfect Days (Wim
Wenders) - masterful film
Careme on apple not bad, not great … like the look of it
Apologies if this has already been mentioned. I’ve never seen anything like this before, couldn’t even begin to describe what kind of show it is, it doesn’t conform to any existing format. Watched it all in one sitting, totally in awe of it.
How to sell drugs online (fast) - chugs along a decent trot and good fun.
Sirens - top cast and script slightly underwhelming ending
Dept Q - 3 in and decent, good central characters, plus Mark Bonnar doing his moody lawyer thing to perfection.
Recently watched:
Companion - very silly, not good
Strange Darling - missed the mark for me, a bit unforgettable
Warfare - felt too pro-war but i guess was okay in terms of film-making? As an Alex Garland fan I was disappointed though
I do have Perfect Days and Love Lies Bleeding lined up so hopefully I’ll get a win soon ![]()
Agree about Sirens, was a bit sceptical going into it but it got better and better and the cast was great, particularly the 2 leads playing the sisters but the ending was a let down, felt rushed and inconsistent with the characters and world they’d built up in the previous episodes.
Got Dept Q lined up.
Hope you love Perfect Days as much as we did.
