What are you watching?

Same, this is bound to get pretty wild.

Have not been this enthused about a TV program for quite some time.

I resisted the temptation to start season 1 when I heard 2 was imminent. No spoilers pleeeeease.

Going in…

All I’m going to say is: Please try to enjoy each episode equally.

I persevered but season 2 of Silo is just as elongated and dull as season 1. They could have easily condensed them into 1 season.

Finally got round to Longlegs.

Liked it stylistically and the overall feel of it was spot on but obviously derivative in its story and influences and a little predictable.

A strange one- like if you got AI to make a horror from the late 20th century that people would definitely like.
Black Phone a very similar film but more authentic for me compared to Longlegs

Apologies -I don’t watch much TV / movies so not exactly an upfront review

We watched Blitz over the weekend and I was a bit underwhelmed. I’d agree with 6/10. It’s a touching story but felt quite traditional. I love Steve McQueen was hoping for something more distinctive. I thought the use of CGI seemed quite clunky too.

Yeah definitely, seen it all before really. Felt made for TV for me.

I know exactly what you mean. Some brilliant scenes but overall just a bit flat somehow.
And some atrocious dialogue.
Really hard to believe it was made by a guy who won the Turner Prize, the Oscar, Palme D’Or, BAFTAs coming out of his ears etc.

Just started this on Netflix knowing nothing about it really, so far so good and the animation is gorgeous.

My daughter is absolutely in love with Arcane. The animation is great, haven’t paid much attention to the plot

Minah gone, can Freddie stay out from under the bus?

Yeah my daughter has also been heaping it with praise.

Well Charlotte was fucking robbed frankly. Played a blinder, deserved a win.

The ‘Seer’ undermined the point of the entire game leading to a dull and inevitable final.

They couldn’t really lose after that revelation.

I think that fringe is getting in the way of Claudia’s priorities which are to entertain me with mindless television after a long week at work.

The fucking ‘seer’. The audience is the ‘seer’ that’s the whole bloody point.
