The Final: Attack On Wembley

No greater bunch of melts than the English en masse when football is involved. What a nightmare.

*edited to remove the term " Brits" with apologies to Scots, Welsh and Northern Irish!! Btw - after watching the entire show I was left gobsmacked that the fans obviously learnt nothing from disasters such as Hillsborough with all the trampling and crushing going on.

Absolute tools. English though, rather than Brits. Say that as an Englishman

I watched a few weeks ago, I knew it’d wind me up but watched anyway (I must stop doing that) - towards the end the narrative seemed to change to it was all a bit of a larf, boys will be boys etc, summat to tell kids about etc. Embarrassing.

Wembley would be easier to police if they hadn’t turned it’s environs into a shopping centre and ‘leisure’ area but guess they needed to pay for it somehow.

I was tempted to get tickets for the Euros but the thought of being out there with the lads who follow England put me off. I don’t want to hang out with people singing about German bombers, the IRA etc.

Yes.

I’ve become fascinated by his story.
Probably because it puts a lot of pointless shit I worry about into perspective
