Ramping up the gore quotient in the latest episode, enjoying it especially it just coming out weekly.

Nice bit of chill TV. Has somewhat of a Gone Fishing vibe to it

Grease on the telly

I love the Beauty School drop out dream sequence, Franki Valli looks 65 like Sid James in Carry on Camping

Finally got round to watching Poor Things.

What a fucking insane trip that was - especially on wonky chocolate

Straight into my top 10 fave films ever.

Wow! Yeah it’s so good!

Really disappointed with American Fiction, can’t understand the love at all. Going to see Perfect Days later to cleanse the palate

The Gentlemen on Netflix. This is the series and it had me for the first 4 episodes but is starting to beat the same drum now.

Aww Perfect Days, so beautiful! He only wore his watch on his day off!

I saw Samara last night. Although it’s really up my street and I really love these kind of flicks, it didn’t blow me away. The section that had everyone talking has some incredible sound design.

Had a re-watch of Beau is Afraid. Also started Twin Peaks.

Classic example of “in the moment” can’t stop watching it. Proper vibes

Just finished it tonight. So well made. All those wordless looks & pauses. Beautiful cinema.

I tried to watch 20 Days In Mariupol. I saw it picked up Best Documentary at the Oscars so wanted to check it out. Unfortunately I couldnt finish it; extremely uncomfortable viewing. Hurt children (and worse) is too much for me to stomach. It’s very well done though, and hats off to the brave journalism team on the ground who brought images of Russian atrocities against civilians to the world during the first days of invasion. Maybe i’ll have the strength to finish it one day. Its on Channel 4 if anyone wants to check it out

I’ve watched 2 episodes of The Night Of on Nowtv. Riz Ahmed and Jon Tuturro. HBO from 2016 but new to me. Very good so far.

I recorded too but have yet to see it, maybe one I see in a few sittings. Cheers for the heads up.

I saw the Storyville about the South Korean pastor who helps people escape from North Korea and some of that was pretty uncomfortable too at times; although with a least some semblance of a happy ending. Recommended.

Absolutely superb series. Flew under the radar.

The BBC version it was based on (Ben Wishaw starring) was better IMO. Think it was called Criminal Justice or something.
