This was interesting and I like how Corbijn (literally) framed what is essentially a filmed oral history.

quiet a well done noir / mystery. not exactly sure where to watch it on streaming
The Brothers Sun on Netflix. You can see what is going to happen a mile off and easily 40% of it is fighting scenes but it has its moments.

my kid just had to deal with some weird (non-life threatening) medical stuff so we let em’ watch whatever for a couple of days. they enjoyed this:
i sort of couldn’t figure it out - sort of comedy/teen angsty drama/martial arts film. features the main three actors from “everything everywhere all at once”! anyway, it was pretty good, even though the dorks at disney didn’t think so and it’ll only get one season.

& also the Walking Dead Daryl Dixon spin off, surprisingly good. Great locations (shot in France), great cast (inc the villain from the Terror), Last of Us vibes.
Masters of the air comes out tomorrow, the last in the band of brothers/pacific trilogy

I enjoyed this.
Couldn’t understand why Noel Gallagher is in it though. He tells a story where he wants us to believe his daughter doesn’t know what a record or CD is? And that they tried to get Hipgnosis to do artwork for them but they couldn’t afford it? He seemed to be making up stuff on the hoof, stories that turn out to be nonsense once you think about it.

Traitors is perfect January TV. Vacuous enough to mean that no real effort is required, yet addictive enough to keep you watching.
Claudia Winkleman is superb in this, looks like she’s having the time of her life.

Just binged season 2 of Big Boys over a few evenings. Lovely TV, me and the Mrs felt like having a little weep at the end.
