I’ve just finished watching the whole Twin Peaks saga with my daughter. Was thinking about the Wire next. Seems to be on Sky only unless you can point me elsewhere?

Seems they won’t ever do a series 6…

George Clooney is making an English language version. Not sure it’ll work.

Yeah it was Sky.

I’ve got seasons 1-3 on dvd if that’s any use to get you started? I don’t have a dvd player any more, you’re welcome to them.

That’s a very kind offer, thank you.
I think I might go for tge 9.99 a month via Now TV. New True Detective coming soon and my daughter wants to see Last of Us which I know is supposed to be great. :+1:

Watched the first three episodes of ‘Gen V’ on Amazon prime and it’s shaping up to be just as weird, gross, funny and dark as ‘The Boys’.

Currently watching everyone’s Convenanza videos, marvelling at some of Sean’s selections. I didn’t think it would survive but reviews seem positive

Not an expert at all and have never been but get the feeling it’s respectfully morphing into something new as opposed to some sort of tribute. David Holmes, Ivan Smagghe etc carrying the torch with Sean. Which is exciting. Basically Caroline’s Spun Out roster are fucking excellent and anything they get together to do would be consistently brilliant.

any love for “the wonderful story of henry sugar” on Netflix?

solid cast and wes anderson directing a roald dahl story, something about writing that explains why i’m hesitant, i think

I’ve loved all of them. It was my favourite Dahl book as a kid so I have a soft spot and think Wes Anderson is doing a brilliant job.

@LazySimon’s post about working jewelry reminded me we saw this doc recently. Equally hilarious and fascinating with some terrific characters.
