What are you watching?

Also watched it last night with my wife who remains a massive Wham/George fan. Agree with your review; we both thought it was brilliant.

I didn’t need convincing of George’s talent. The nicest surprise was seeing how much Andrew encouraged and reluctantly nurtured it.

Finished season 1 of Mr Inbetween after seeing it recommended on here. What a show. Looking forward to starting season 2.

Best Australian crime show since Underbelly. You really end up rooting for someone who is a terrible, terrible person.

My wife suggested this, it’s very funny, slightly weird, in a Wicker Man type of way, and has a great cast.

Ha thanks !
This is excellent. Great recommendation

Also reminded how incredibly good looking he was (considering how eclipsed he later became)

cheers for the Mr Inbetween recommendation, just watched season 1 and it’s really great
now i’ve gotta pace myself so i don’t run out episodes too quickly

When you finish Mr. Inbetween, you can always watch Aussie crims avin’ a lark in tv shows such as Rake, East West 101, Wentworth, The Twelve, Blue Murder, Rush, Killing Time, as well as films such as Two Hands, Chopper, Animal Kingdom, The Boys, Mystery Road, Snowtown, The Dry, Nitram, Romper Stomper, Lantana, The Interview.

The Boys is a favourite of mine - I remember going to see it at Brixton Ritzy one afternoon and there were about three other people there. Dark film. I’m a big fan of Animal Kingdom, Snowtown and Nitram too. Oz has always done a good turn on movies about low life.

Just finished ‘We Hunt Alone’ in Iplayer

A bit too Killing Eve inspired ( especially last one , wont spoil) but very watchable

Have also completed Mr Inbetween. Thanks to all who recommended it, thought it was excellent.

Enjoyed ‘We Hunt Alone’ on BBC / Iplayer

Very Killing Eve inspired

This can’t be true, can it? Brilliant if it is.

Episode 4 of the latest Black Mirror (slow to get here I know) great watch, catch it and you’ll see why…

Started watching Catastrophe again, the whole series is on Netflix, still holds up, probably my fave British show of the last few years

Yes, I thought Deadloch was great. Some really funny dialogue. Kept me guessing until the end which was good.

Edit now I’ve watched it, lovely jewel of a film set in 1980s Naples, great dialogue and NOT TOO LONG (thank god they didn’t make it into a 10-part miniseries)

Never heard of it so looking forward to going in completely blind :grinning:
