Yup, every cliché in the book and some borderline acting from main characters but watched the lot too, odd.

The acting quality definitely improves toward the periphery of the cast. Maybe it takes a special type of talent to delivery the lines required of the central characters.

Kind of reminded me of Leon, Miku Martineau was great, tip for the top, she not the film.

3 episodes into Blue Lights, wasn’t sure at first but decent.
Just seen this, think it’s a few years old but a good wholesome film:
it’s playoffs time. i’m watching a LOT of NBA baskeball.
the sacramento kings are obviously the feel-good team of the year, and watching them go 2-0 against the defending champions (golden state warriors) is a feel-good experience. sabonis grew up in portland and his dad is a legend, so long may they run.
my daughter is a minnesota timberwolves fan and i’m… not. but, she’s 8 so i won’t outwardly wish for their swift demise, but it will be sort of fun to watch denver stomp a mudhole in them. after she saw rudy gobert punch his own teammate on the sideline, the shine has sort of worn off of the wolves for her.
i like the memphis grizzlies, and hate the lakers, so that’s an easy choice and while i don’t love the matchups - i think the griz can make this happen, even if it goes seven games.
there’s a number of matchups where i wish both teams could lose (clippers/suns, sixers/nets) and the rest i’m sort of indifferent about - but still watching.

Fuck yes. Flew to Zürich last week and binged the whole thing. So many great bits which I won’t spoil for those of you who haven’t seen it. 10/10
When they opened Yuma and the year they had Kaskade as the headliner on the main stage.
I remember lads going from ireland years ago they live by me and are first cousins with someone from the band Ash… It was like they were at Woodstock the stories and pictures they had taken… Well times do be a changing… I saw somewhere Keith Duffy from boyzone and Brian Mcfadden are playing in ibiza this year…

A Spy Among Friends. ITVX
Loosely based on the Cambridge Five that defected to Russia in the early 60s. Lots of jolly old boys joshing in dark smokey rooms whilst quaffing whiskey. Damian Lewis and Guy Pearce as the leads. Very strong acting scenes all round though
