6 episodes into the Staircase, best new tv of the year so far for me.
Watched X last night. Pretty good schlocky horror/satire, recommended.
Finally got round to watching Jojo Rabbit. Absolutely loved it. The right dose of humour and the brutal reality of a madman turning his citizens against each other and dragging his country into a pointless war. All too familiar.
Yeah it’s great, stands repeat viewing too
Top Gun 2 was an absolutely blast. Unashamedly Hollywood popcorn fodder no doubt, but possibly some of the greatest action sequences in cinema. Old Tom doesn’t mess about does he?
Smashed through Big Boys on Ch4. Really enjoyed it. Pretty funny.
Also finished the staircase, great tv.
Going to start on ‘We own this city’.
I watched that flick - I heard it was a good romp - wasn’t expecting anything actually good, but it was pretty terrible when all was said and done. And trust me, I can watch some crap and enjoy it haha
Yeah it’s shit. Good shit. But shit! I enjoyed it!
That Adam Sandler basketball film on Netflix. Pretty entertaining.
Started new BBC drama Sherwood last night. Very promising opener. Murder revealing old rivalries in a Nottinghamshire former mining town
Jan 6 Committee 3rd hearing
The Boys season 3.
They’ve definitely decided fuck it all.
Brilliant show.
Watched EP4 of Stranger Things, the Kate Bush one everyone’s been going on about. Yeah, it was great. One of the TV moments of the year for sure. Who knew a soft banger and creepy horror could be used to such great effect
Watched the first episode last night and it was great. The kind of drama the BBC do better than anyone else imo.
Sir Alex Ferguson: Never Give In
Two episodes of The lazarus project… Not bad

Kerri Chandler and the sound of the Subbie
Cheers for that
Khruangbin at Glastonbury, absolutely killing it
