Terrifying and barrelling is the last thing hard trance is, mostly just irritating and obnoxious. Same for a lot of FP’s music, imo. though in a different context obviously. jazz lite for people who don’t like jazz.

don’t let the title dissuade you, well, I mean, it is accurate, but not in the stereotypical aggy dnb sense (as often befalls such tracks.) More creepy 1920s noir speakeasy crime jazz meets terminator. A personal favourite, so cold and empty. whispering voices and exchanges of coins.
Still haven’t made up my mind about the Mk.Gee album. Some great tracks on it, and some sludgy “what did he say?” type tracks too. It’s slowly working its way under my skin though.
