What are you listening to now, I mean right now in this moment?

Yes, liking this one a lot.

Playing this all the way through with a coffee. Had it for years and never realised how good it is!

Couple of edits/versions of Flying Machine floating around but you can’t beat the original. Musicianship across the whole album is insane.

Only ever played Flying Machine. Will give the whole thing a spin.

I know some of the lads from Cabbage, they are from the small town where I live.

Lee who is the main head behind them is a top lad, I know his family well.

Shame what happened to them as they had record deals, were doing well at festivals and all that, but that’s rock n roll….

Used to hear them a lot on Marc Riley’s show a few years ago and liked their irreverent attitude and lyrics but didn’t know much about them, for some reason they popped into my head this morning, so been listening to a few tunes and then noticed they’d split up a few years back.
Always liked this one as well.

This is the only one I got closest to liking and mainly because I know some of the extras in the video:

Never thought I’d see cabbage on here though :man_shrugging:

Amazing track -half mad house sirens and then suddenly drops into the most sublime jazzy funky groove. Real New York record. I need to hear it loud in a club. Track of the year already?

That really is a great cover. Reminded me of this. I’m surprised there isn’t a big book with them all in. Or is there?
