bleh, of course heās āfrom portlandā. so am i, technically. no idea why this bothers me. my wife recently suggested (after a glass of wine or two) that maybe we move back to portland and my first reaction was ābut thatās where all my enemies liveā.
my family and a number of my dearest friends (still) live there too, but yāknow - familiarity breeds contempt, or whatever sort of colloquialism you wanna dredge up to justify your decisions.
