that Muzik cassette was a real gamechanger for me. still have it somewhere. First time Iād heard Mental Generation and thought this is amazing, where can I hear more w/o knowing anything about Ibiza.

Yep, had a similar effect on me, I knew about Ibiza but never took much interest in it at that point, thought it was all Julesy, Tongy, Blocko, Jeremy Healy, Boy George, Oakenfold & all that mob & that wasnāt the dance music that i loved.
Iād probably heard of Balearic but had never taken much notice.
That tape probably made me realise there was another side to Ibiza, something deeper.

Heard the new BjĆørn Torske remix of Hubbabubbaklubb on Chuggyās NTS show a few days ago. Listening a lot since then. Favourite track of the year so far for me.

Surely that cover is a case of not being able to license the original. Seems they re-made it with a sketch, but only used it on the back sleeve.
