this Laura Branigan - Self Control edit played by Sean Johnston / ALFOS last friday at Convenanza. It worked sooo well on the crowd, super nice highlight from a stellar 5h set. uploaded recently, no dl available yet, hopefully more info soon !

Originally released on Nunk Records by obscure British artist Alan Ward and Belgian producer Frank Degryse. Reissued on Stroom as a Valetine special. B-side to Keysha’s Stop it!

As a veteran of a few ‘heated’ Branigan v RAF debates over the years, i think that remix strips out all the overblown euro drama that makes the track such fun. Admittedly, I haven’t been to the castle in years and it probably sounded amazing on the night

Good to hear. I’ve only started listening to this on my commute this morning. Looking forward to the rest later.
Has Sean’s whole set been uploaded anywhere?
Enjoying this so far, 20 mins in…

I don’t know where this fits, maybe in the floaty banger pile, but I’ve really enjoyed getting lost in it
Released on Eskimo Recordings. No surprises there. Used to be a great label and a major player in Ghent’s nightlife.
Mike Francis best of. Tempted to buy this but I have all the singles. Mike FRANCIS - The Best Of Mike Francis Vinyl at Juno Records.
